(+)-Theta-cypermethrin

(+)-Theta-cypermethrin is a stereoisomer of Cypermethrin that can penetrate the blood-brain barrier and exhibits high affinity binding with AKT1, SRC, STAT3, and EGFR. It reduces delayed rectifier potassium channel current amplitude, causing a shift in the steady-state activation curve toward more negative potentials. At higher concentrations, it also shifts the steady-state inactivation curve negatively. Additionally, (+)-Theta-cypermethrin can induce abnormal electrical activity in rat hippocampal neurons and is associated with chronic respiratory system damage and neurotoxicity.
